Why is new iron maiden considered as good as old iron maiden?

I know people will get all angry with my opinion but iron maiden has been past their prime for 20 years.I think they should have stopped making new music after Bruce Dickenson left the band in 1993.Look at post original dickenson era maiden:blaze bailey era had 3 or 4 good songs and a bunch of mediocre ones like fortunes of war.Brave new world and dance of death were ok but not up to the high standard of the bands earlier albums.A matter of life and death and final frontier are both fine albums from a musical perspective but have weak lyrics and steve harris has lost it on bass.Iron maiden has tainted their legacy these last 18 years.They are one of my favorite bands but when was the last time they made a truly great song like the trooper,aces high or flight of icarus?
