Is there a Kid Icarus Remake?

I found a bunch of I guess game play previews of a Super Kid Icarus on youtube and such. I was just wondering if this ever actually was finished or if there is even a playable demo of any of these? I would be interested in playing if there was, just have not been able to turn anything up. Anyone know where I might be able to find such a thing?
